“ I’ve been coming here for years and sadly I’m just now reviewing. I started coming here when my daughter started seeing providers at UNC and always shocked they don’t have a continuous line out the door. I drive an hour to eat here and would drive 5 sooooo good. ”
“ My favorite Bunz Burger is finally open until 3 AM on Fridays and Saturdays, so I had to visit! I got the Cajun Burger with avocado added. So good, so satisfying. ”
“ I hadn't been here in a while and figured we'd go for date night. My fiance has a pretty severe gluten allergy which we told the person taking our order and he was super knowledgeable about what he could have on the menu. This was awesome as a lot of times when we go out somewhere people don't know what it is or don't care or pay attention which leaves us to usually just stay in. We felt pretty confident about eating here though! The food came out super quick and it was so good! My only compliant is the caramelized onions I got on my burger were way too sweet I had to take them off it was like dessert was on my burger. Other than that our food was awesome and my fiance didn't get glutened! Definitely added them to our list of places to go! ”
“ Located right by UNC, this spot is the ultimate burger destination with its juicy patty, fresh veggies, and perfectly cut, crispy, hot fries. It's the only burger joint where you can enjoy this unique combination. If you're a burger lover, you won’t want to miss this place! ”
“ Overall Score: 5.1/10 – A casual burger spot that delivers an average experience with decent food but struggles with its outdated interior and confusing menu setup. Atmosphere and Service: 4.5/10 – The restaurant feels run-down and in need of renovation, not in a charming or intentional vintage way. There is no outdoor seating, and the self-seating system lacks convenience, with no portable menus provided. The three different menus, each with slight variations, create unnecessary confusion. The staff was polite and did their job, but there was nothing particularly notable about the service. Despite its worn appearance, the place was relatively clean. Cheeseburger: 5.4/10 – A good, casual burger with a fairly large portion size and decent fries on the side. The burger tasted okay but lacked anything memorable to make it stand out. The price was reasonable for the portion, but it’s not a dish worth going out of the way for. ”
“ Stopped in based on previous reviews and glad we did, food was great. It was my daughter and I after passing through town for a soccer game. Environment was fun, had a college dive feel to it with 2 tvs and a self serve seating. Staff was nice, they bring the food out to you but it is counter service ordering. Food is great, the burgers are hand pattied and the buns are super good. Toppings are fresh and you can go the way of build your own or pick from a list of menu burgers. Fries are awesome and portion sizes are pretty good. I had a grilled cheese sandwich and a double Fire Roasted Jalapeno Burger. I could have done with a single patty burger but I had big eyes. Highly recommend this place for great food with fair prices and good portion sizes. ”
“ Elevated burgers in a college town burger joint. The beef is flavorful not too salt you and the patties are thick. Cooked accurately. The veggies are fresh and crisp. Bison is an option. They have lots of options for building your own burger as well as specials. French fries are crispy on the outside and light in the inside, like boardwalk fries. Sweet tea is okay but not sweet enough. ”
“ Never disappoints! Delicious and very tasty. Have always ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and always get the biggest slice of chicken ever on a sandwich. Juicy and well made. So yummy thinking about it! Toppings are always fresh. Order of fries (not pictured) are always a good side and also a huge portion for just the regular size. A neat spot to hit up in the area. Pictured is a grilled chicken sandwich on a brioche bun topped with lettuce, tomato, bacon, jalapeno, and avocado. Cost me 12.31. Worth it for this flavor! ”
